  • By registering you are RSVP'ing you will attend this event as a Cadillac V-Series owner and prospective V-Club member. You will notify the event organizers if your plans should change. If you plan to bring guests, you are required to pay $15.00 per per person at time of RSVP registration. Max attendees for non-members is 25.
  • By registering you are RSVP'ing you will attend this event as a non-local V-Club Chapter member and will notify the event organizers if your plans should change. If you plan to bring guests, you are required to pay $15.00 per per person at time of RSVP registration.

Join the Cadillac V-Club for our Pacific Southwest Region "California Dreamin'  Cruise" event on Saturday, June 27, 2020 for a final destination to Solvang, CA.   We will depart for Solvang from Rudy's Restaurant in Carpinteria, CA after lunch at approximately 1:00 PM.

All Cadillac V-Club members who reside in California are invited to join us for a meal compliments of the Cadillac V-Club.  Members with a Single membership may bring guests and the guest fee must be paid in advance at time of your RSVP registration.

V-Club members with a family membership will not be charged a guest fee for their immediate family members. Cadillac V-Series owners who are prospective V-Club members are also welcome to join us at this event for a complimentary meal.  Guest fee policy also applies to prospective members who bring guests and payment must be received in advance at time of registration.

 RSVP registration is mandatory to attend this event by registering yourself and the number of guests that will be attending with you.  We must provide the restaurant with a headcount for our group prior to the event date. Social distancing guidelines apply to this event.

Meet in Menlo Park, CA at 6:45 AM at Facebook Headquarters for a 7:00AM departure to meet LA Chapter attendees at Rudy's Mexican Restaurant in Carpinteria. Travel Time will be approximately 5 hours.

NOTE: Some members plan to stay overnight and return on Sunday morning.

 ABOUT SLOVANG

If you're ever driving through the Santa Ynez Valley in Central California, don't be surprised if suddenly, even just for a moment, you're transported back in time to a Danish village right out of the old world. It's not your imagination. It's only Solvang, California, and yes, those windmills are real. Oh yeah, and if you notice something smelling really good, it may be coming from one of the many Danish bakeries as the scents from the delicacies waft from their shop windows.

It's hard to pick out one street in the area as the town's Main Street since there are several streets in Solvang could qualify for that title. California Highway 246 is the main highway leading into town and becomes Mission Drive, which has many shops, restaurants and inns. But if you hop off the main drag, you'll also find that Alisal Road and Copenhagen Drive feature a large number of boutiques and cafes as well and would be strong contenders for the title of Solvang's Main Street. Solvang is about 130 miles from Los Angeles and 35 miles from Santa Barbara, another Main Street community in Santa Barbara County. Other nearby Main Street communities worth checking out include Carpinteria and Montecito.
