Texas Hill Country Twisted Sisters Cruise

Three Hill Country Ranch Roads, 335, 336 and 337, are known throughout Texas as the Twisted Sisters (aka Three Sisters) and automobile enthusiasts and motorcycle riders come from near and far to enjoy them.  Cadillac V-Club member and VP Racing Executive Bruce Hendel is organizing a "cruise" through the Twisted Sisters.

Bruce has invited any Cadillac V-Club members who are interested to join him on this road trip that will begin in Boerne, Texas on Friday, October 7 at 8:00AM sharp.  The actual start location will be provided to all participants prior to Friday morning.  This is not an official Cadillac V-Club event but if you would like to participate, please RSVP and Bruce will contact you with additional logistical information before Friday.

Plan on a serious "mileage day", approximately 280 miles round-trip.  This road loop is, without a doubt, among the best, most challenging roads in the state. The route follows canyons and climbs jagged, steep hills; the roads offer many tight, twisty curves with shear drop offs alongside and not much in the way of guardrails. In one 15-mile section, there are approximately 65 curves! You will want to remain focused on the road—even when a panoramic vista pops up along the way. Don’t forget to top off your fuel tank before heading out and we will make fuel stops.

The plan is to stop for lunch in Leakey, Texas possibly at the Bent Rim Grill, 657 RR 337 West in Leakey.  There will be plenty of scenic spots along the way.
