This quarterly cruise will take us on a scenic trip to Whidbey Island, starting with a one-hour stop at a Cars and Coffee of Whidbey Island Car Club. You'll see several interesting and vintage cars. Then we'll head to a waterside restaurant overlooking Admiralty Inlet and then Explore the Legacy of Naval Aviation at the Pacific Northwest Naval Air Museum.

The Pacific Northwest Naval Air Museum invites you to experience the proud Naval history of Whidbey Island. Located in Oak Harbor—near the historic Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, active since World War II—the museum offers a unique look into the stories, people, and aircraft that helped shape the region and the nation.

Visitors of all ages will enjoy hands-on flight simulators, rare historical artifacts, and exhibits that bring decades of aviation history to life. Whether you’re a veteran, a lifelong learner, or exploring with the whole family, there’s something meaningful waiting for you here.

The new facility features a new auditorium, a research library and archives, dedicated activity rooms, and room to grow their collection and programming.

Along the way we'll find some twisty hilly roads. Lunch will be provided compliments of the Cadillac V-Club! Return routes are optional (you can drive off the north end, no ferry), and those who would enjoy a longer stay on Whidbey should consider overnight lodging (book soon).

The adventure starts with a 15-minute ferry ride from the Mukilteo to South Whidbey. Five minutes off the ferry is the Cars and Coffee gathering behind Les Schwab and in front of a bagel shop and near Whidbey Coffee drive-thru.

The ferry to catch is the 9:00am boat.  Arrive at the Mukilteo dock no later than 8:30am. Ferry fees are $14.50 (plus passengers), slightly lower for seniors and children.
Important: When boarding, to avoid injuring any carbon fiber front splitters on ferry deck ramps, turn on your 4-way flashers while approaching the boat. That signifies to ferry workers you don't want ramps, what's called, "the flat".

The Mukilteo Ferry Terminal is 26 miles north of Seattle. If you stay on I-405, the road shrinks and takes you right down to the ferry dock.

Participation is open to all members and prospective members of the Cadillac V-Club.  Please RSVP early if you plan to participate in this special cruise experience.
