Who Says Florida Doesn't Have Curves?

Florida may be famous for sunshine, beaches, and straight highways, but we're about to find something a little more interesting!

Join us for our Fourth Quarter Tail of the Gecko Road Rally, a scenic cruise through the Florida countryside featuring winding roads, sweeping curves, rural farmland, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy our V-Series Cadillacs.

We're taking the long way to lunch—and that's exactly the point!

Our destination is the historic Linger Lodge Restaurant, tucked along the Braden River in Bradenton.

Great roads. Great cars. A unique destination. And a fantastic afternoon with fellow V-Club members.

The Tail of the Gecko

We'll begin the morning at Chick-fil-A in Riverview, where we'll gather the cars, catch up with fellow members, and prepare for the drive.

From there, we'll follow our planned route through the rural Florida countryside.

Expect a refreshing change from the usual highways, with stretches of winding pavement, farmland, sweeping curves, and scenic surroundings.

This is a relaxed group cruise, not a timed competition. We'll enjoy the roads while maintaining safe spacing and following posted speed limits.

Lunch at Historic Linger Lodge

At the end of our cruise, we'll arrive at Linger Lodge Restaurant, a unique Old Florida destination along the Braden River.

The property traces its history to 1945, when it began as a fishing and canoeing campground.

Today, Linger Lodge is known for its rustic atmosphere, riverside views, eclectic interior, and distinctive Florida character.

Enjoy lunch, catch up with fellow members, and take in the surroundings before heading home.

Morning — Tail of the Gecko Cruise

Depart together for a scenic drive through the Florida countryside.

Lunch — Linger Lodge Restaurant

Enjoy lunch and time with fellow V-Club members along the Braden River.

2:30 PM — Event Concludes

Final departure and restaurant arrival times will be shared with registered attendees.

⚠️ Cruise Notes

  • Arrive with a full tank of fuel.

  • Review the route before departure.

  • Maintain safe spacing and obey posted speed limits.

  • If separated from the group, continue to the next designated regroup point or Linger Lodge.

  • Bring sunglasses, water, and anything else you may need for a comfortable drive.

We're coordinating lunch arrangements for approximately 30 attendees, so please RSVP in advance.
