V-Club Dyno Day Shootout at HP Motorsports

Registration

  • Competing in Dyno Day Shootout - limited to first 15 entries, excluding spectators and guests. Limited to owners of a V-Series vehicle who are active members of the Texas V-Club, i.e. CTS-V, XLR-V, STS-V, XTS-V, ATS-V, XTS V-Sport. You must register to confirm your RSVP entry to compete in the Dyno Day Shootout and/or the dinner cruise. Non-competitor guests may attend but guests must register separately using the Spectator/Guest registration form.
  • Will not be entered in Dyno Day Shootout but will join the event for lunch as a member or spectator/guest of the V-Club. No charge for participating and spectating. You must register so we can make reservations for the dinner cruise after the event. If you already registered as a Competitor, you must register again if you plan to bring guests and enter the number of guests.

Want to know how much horsepower your V really puts to the ground?   Sewell Cadillac of Houston and HP Motorsports is hosting a private Dyno Day challenge event open to "members only" of the Texas V-Club.  Each competitor will be allowed a maximum of 3 pulls on the dyno. Prizes will be awarded in each class to the highest RWHP (rear wheel horsepower) V-Series vehicle.

Registration to participate in this Dyno Day shootout is limited to the first 15 entries.  Spectators are welcome to join the event but you MUST also register via the Texas V-Club website to confirm your attendance as a spectator or guest (also limited to 25 spectator/guests). 


There will be a dinner cruise compliments of the V-Club immediately after the dyno day event. All V-Club members who RSVP'd via the V-Club website are invited to Rudy's BBQ located at 14620 Northwest Fwy Houston, TX. All guests must cover the cost of their meal.


NOTE: The website registration "counter" includes both registered entries in the dyno event and all participants who are guests or spectators.

 
Pure Stock Class: OEM as delivered from factory,  no other performance adders including Cold Air Intakes (CAI) and custom tunes.

Semi Stock Class: includes aftermarket CAI, tune, headers, exhaust upgrade, pulley upgrades, injector upgrades but no other performance adders.

Pro Modified Class: includes all "stock" classification specs plus one or more upgrades such as cam, heads, ported supercharger/snout, ported throttle body, meth injection, E-85, race gas

Super Modified Class: includes both stock and modified class specs plus one or more upgrades such as nitrous, twin turbos or fully forged built engines

Prizes: The vehicle which dyno's the highest overall rear wheel horsepower among all classes will receive a 1 free year membership* (new or renewal) in the Texas V-Club. Each class winner will receive an award wall plaque which will include your name, vehicle year/model, dyno rwhp and torque. Each participant will also receive a printed copy of their dyno results at the event.
