Our Charities

While our mission and vision is to promote networking and collaboration among our members and sponsors, our founding charter members mutually agreed they wanted to select a few charitable non-profit organizations to support.  Since our inception, the Cadillac V-Club has donated over $15,000 to multiple charities including the Wounded Warriors Program (WWP), the Dennis Sehorn ALS Foundation and the Drive to Remember Alzheimer's Charity.   We will continue to support other charitable organizations throughout each year based on opportunities presented and approved by our Board of Directors.

The Dennis Sehorn Foundation is a 100% volunteer operated, 501(c)(3) organization working to provide support to PALS (People with ALS/Lou Gehrig’s).  Their mission is to do what they can to ease the physical and financial burdens from this debilitating disease.  Your donations go directly to PALS and their families to assist with medical, caregiver and quality of life expenses.  Most other organizations are focused on research related to treating, curing or preventing ALS.  The Dennis Sehorn Foundation understands the importance of organizations like these, however they feel it is their responsibility to offer their support and assistance to those living day to day with ALS. This Foundation was founded by family and friends in memory of Dennis Sehorn.  He bravely fought ALS from 2004 – 2008.  He spent the last 3 years of his life on a portable ventilator.  Dennis Sehorn is the founder of Circle D Transmission, a V-Club sponsor located in Houston, Texas. The Drive to Remember Charity is also a 100% volunteer operated Charity based in Longview, Texas andfounded by Cameron Williams. "Drive To Remember was initiated as a response to the lack of awareness and support for Alzheimer's disease. As caregivers for his father,  both his mother and Cameron experienced many difficulties throughout the progression of the disease until it took his father's life on December 8th, 2016.

Not only were there difficulties in caring for his loved one, but his family also struggled with explaining the disease to the average person. Drive To Remember's main objective is to host public events that draw attention, which allows them to properly engage with the community and raise awareness for a disease that currently has no cure.  The annual in-door D2R car show is an event the Cadillac V-Club continues to support each year. In 2021 Cadillac headquarters shipped two new Blackwing models to display at the event and the Cadillac V-Club was the largest single financial contributor to the event.  Click here to learn more about the Drive to Remember Charity.
