The USMileRacing.com website will be updated soon to reflect the venue change from Victoria, Texas to Beeville, Texas. USMileRacing.com is where you will find more details and are required to register/submit payment for your competitor entry fee.  If you were registered to attend the March 27-29, 2020 Texas Mile that was cancelled, your entry has been moved to this event.   The venue will be Chase Field Industrial Complex airport in Beeville, Texas using the 1.5 mile runway.  You must create a driver profile before registering to attend this event as a competitor. Click here to create your profile.

If you are attending as a V-Club member or a V-Series owner as a prospective member, please RSVP register via the CadillacVClub.com website to confirm your attendance as a either a competitor or spectator.

NOTE: You will not be confirmed and allowed entry at the venue until you have paid all competitor and event fees directly to the Texas Mile organization via their USMileRacing.com website in advance of the event date.  I
f you are spectating only, at the gate when you arrive at the venue.

If you have never attended the Texas Mile, this is an event you should consider attending at least once as either as a spectator or competitor. Even if your Cadillac V is "bone stock" you can make passes down the runway for that "top speed experience" without getting a speeding ticket!  If you do not feel comfortable making a "full 1 mile pass", then you can shut it down at the 1/2 Mile marker and still receive your official trap speed slip.

There are currently 14 Cadillac V-Series owners registered to compete in this event, a few of which will break 200MPH in the standing mile. Breaking 200 at the Mile is a is a significant accomplishment for any driver and very few vehicles have the horsepower required to achieve that goal.

The Cadillac V-Club will be hosting a complimentary dinner on Saturday evening for all members and prospective members who have RSVP'd to attend the Texas Mile at the Beeville Country Club.  The address is 182 Country Club Place, Beeville, Texas.  Be sure to indicate on the RSVP form if you will be attending dinner and indicate whether or not any guests will be joining you.  Please plan to arrive NLT 6:45PM.  Dinner will be served at 7:00PM sharp.  Due to space limitations, RSVP is mandatory to join us for dinner.

The host hotel is the Yonder Inn.  Location is 2201 NW Frontage Road, Beeville, TX.  Phone: 361-354-5500.  Be sure to mention the "Texas Mile Group" to receive a discounted rate.  Hotels fill up very fast and quite a few participants and spectators rent RV's and stay at the track the entire week-end.

HISTORY OF TEXAS MILE

Introduction Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJ46mtfFEaA

For 17-years, twice a year, The Texas Mile has transformed an airport runway in the Coastal Bend area of Texas into a world-renowned motorsports festival and proving grounds for manufacturers, after-market suppliers, and vehicle tuners. The Texas Mile hosts amateur and professional car and motorcycle enthusiasts from around the globe for an ultimate Top Speed Racing experience. It is a man-and-machine challenge. Participants race against the mile-per-hour clock with “No Speed Limit” to capture their top speed at the 1-mile marker.

“This is a community centric event everyone enjoys,” says Shannon Matus, who started the event in 2003 with Jay Matus in nearby communities of Goliad, then to Beeville, then to Victoria and now back home to Beeville, TX. “Our event caters to enhancing the experience of all engaged in the event whether you are physically present or online. It has a very “personal feel” to it while at the same time is considered a “big-time” racing event.”

The Texas Mile originally began with 35 participants and now features more than 220 competitors. It has become a tradition and destination event for many people, families, businesses and civic organizations in the United States, Canada and Mexico as well as gained a significant following internationally.
