Cadillac has officially unveiled the V-ONE Concept at Monterey Car Week, presenting a single-seat, track-focused study directly derived from its championship-winning V-Series.R prototype race car. Co-developed by Cadillac Design, Cadillac Racing, and chassis constructor Dallara, the V-ONE translates full factory-level endurance racing hardware into a ultra-luxury customer performance concept.
The underlying hardware remains pure prototype—anchored by a Dallara carbon-fiber monocoque, sprung with pushrod-actuated suspension, center-lock wheels, active aerodynamics, and massive underbody venturi tunnels that carry over virtually unchanged from the race car.
“It’s about as close to the race car as you can get,” says Sean O’Shea, Cadillac LMDh Propulsion Manager. “The interior of the car is one of the main selling points with the car," said O’Shea. “You open the doors and you look inside and it's a clean, purpose-built race car with a bespoke Cadillac interior.”
Outside, a gradient paint scheme shifts from bright silver at the nose to deep navy blue at the tail—a nod to the day-to-night transition during 24-hour endurance races. A small serialized door plaque hints that Cadillac plans to build more than one.
Unrestricted Prototype Power
Unlike its IMSA and FIA WEC racing sibling—which must strictly adhere to Balance of Performance regulations—the V-ONE operates without series limits. It pairs the V-Series.R's hand-built 5.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 with a simplified hybrid system acting as an engine boost.
