We are pleased to announce that Andre Lizano has volunteered and been appointed as the new Director of the Chicagoland Chapter. The chapter has been expanded to include V-Series owners located in Northeast Illinois, Northwest Indiana, and Southeast Wisconsin.

Andre is a lifelong gearhead and automotive enthusiast, dedicated father, husband, and a manufacturing sales professional. He resides in Loves Park with his family and 2 dachshunds. Loves anything with an engine that makes noise and goes fast. A racing fanatic in the many categories, from F1, to WEC, IMSA, NASCAR, WRC, Drag. One of his biggest joys in life is driving his vehicle on a road with an engaging mix of elevation changes, varied corner types, and smooth pavement to fully experience the awesomeness of his CT5-V Blackwing!

His Cadillac V-Series ownership experience began with the admiration for the 1st and 2nd gen V’s – in 2014 he got the opportunity to acquire a CTS V-Sport. This first V-Series vehicle demonstrated that Cadillac was truly evolving as a high performance luxury car brand. Even though it was a V-Sport, it quickly became one of his favorite all time vehicles that had a twin turbo engine, magnetic ride control, e-differential combined with a luxurious interior. After a few additional "non-Cadillac" ownership experiences, in 2023 he acquired a Blackwing.

His new ride is a 2023 Blaze Orange, 6 speed CT5-V Blackwing which which Andre said "is an absolute joy to own". He joined the Cadillac V-Club almost immediately and has been a very active member attending numerous events.

He also serves as the admin for a large CT5 owners group on FB and is active on social media. He will now also serve as the admin for the Chicagoland Chapter official Cadillac V-Club Facebook page. Andre commented, "it’s truly the people that make the cars special and experience memorable and I am excited about this opportunity".
