Drive to Remember Charity Car Show

Registration

  • Active member of V-Club who will display their vehicle in the car show from 10:00AM to 4:00PM. If you plan to bring a guest, your guest should register separately as a spectator as the car show entry registration is limited to 15 members max. There will be a wait list in case there are car show participant cancellations.
  • Open to members/non-members who are Cadillac V owners. This is your RSVP to spectate at car show which includes dinner for all V-Club members plus immediate family members in attendance. If you are competing in the car show and guests are attending with you, you or your guest must also RSVP register here and denote the number of guests that are attending with you.
  • Cadillac V owners who are interested in joining the V-Club and would like to participate in the car show as a entrant or spectator and also plan to join the V-Club private dinner event.
Your event tickets will be purchased to the event in advance and your dinner is complimentary.

Drive to Remember is one of the charities that we support and the Cadillac V-Club is also co-sponsor of this event.  This was a fantastic event in 2017 and we are once again cruising to Longview, Texas to show support of this worthy charity and indoor auto show to be held at Maude Cobb Convention Center.  This road trip will proceed down Interstate 20 into the piney woods of East Texas with a scheduled arrival time of 10:00AM.  All V-Club Chapters are welcome to participate in this event.

The mission of the Drive to Remember  event and charity is to find a cure for Alzheimer's Disease by contributing to intensive research; to assist in promoting enriched treatment programs for those families already affected, and to increase public awareness of the need for an end to Alzheimer's. General admission tickets sell for $5 at the door however all V-Club members who display their membership ID card will receive free admittance including your spouse and children.  If you are interested in displaying your vehicle in the car show, the $20 entry fee per vehicle is covered by the V-Club and due to space, we are limiting the number of V's to a maximum of 15.  To participate in the car show you must arrive by 9:45AM and remain in the building until 4:00PM.

Even if you are not participating in the car show, you should consider joining the cruise, checkout the vehicles in the "indoor air conditioned" car show and then join us for dinner.

The V-Club group dinner for all attendees will be held in Longivew at 4:30 PM at a fantastic 5 star restaurant:

  • Depart Location: 7:30AM sharp Tanger Outlet Mall, Terrell, Texas (arrive by 7:15 at the latest) We will meet at the IHOP next to the mall.  There is a gas station close to IHOP so make sure your tank is full before we leave Terrell because the next stop will be Longview.
  • Arrive Longview: 9:45AM at Maude Cobb CC (If you arrive late (after 10:00am) unfortunately you will not be admitted to the building.. All car show vehicles must arrive on or before 10:00AM).
  • Depart Longview: 6:30PM

This will be about a 265 mile roundtrip. It is for a worthy cause, is a nice change of pace from our regular meet 'n greet or competitive events and you will get to enjoy the beauty of East Texas.
