T&E Promotions and the Texas Motorplex have come together with some of the biggest names in the aftermarket automotive industry to bring you this incredible Street Car event. class rules and payouts listed below. 

No advance registration required but if you plan to attend as a Cadillac V-Club member, please RSVP to let us know you will be there.

Friday Night 5/29/20: 6pm-Midnight Test N Tune at the Texas Motorplex (all cars welcome)

Triple Seven Performance StreetCar Showdown (Saturday)

  • Everyone Pays $20 at the gate (12 and under free)
  • Tech Cards and class signups will be at the Triple Seven Performance Tent located in the concrete area behind the main tower of the race track.
  • Tech will be at the fuel station at the back of the racer pit area.
  • once your through tech, you will be given a car number, class lettering and you will be given two Triple Seven Performance Streetcar Showdown Stickers that must be displayed on each side of your car.
  • One car cannot run two index/bracket classes(one car can run one index/bracket class and one Heads up class, GTR vs World though a break out at 8.00 in the quarter mile is still considered a heads up class)
  • All Classes are Quarter Mile!!!!

Advanced Modern Performance True Street fun and run class

Class Structure – Competitors will make a 30 mile drive, competitors upon return will park on the Return Road for a short cool down. Competitors will then make 3 back to back passes for an overall average.

  • A Trophy and prize money for the quickest average, and runner up but also for the following: Closest averaged ET that is not quicker than the following- 9.00, 10.00, 11.00, 12.00, 13.00, 14.00, and 15.00.
  • Payout: True Street Champion $500, True Street Runner Up $250, Index average champions $100
  • after True Street is completed, all competitors are automatically enrolled into one of the index racing classes of their choice free of charge, for a chance to win more prizes and money. (9.00,10.00,11.00,12.00 or 12.50-slower bracket, excludes GTR vs the world 8.00 outlaw)
  • all makes, all models, all years
  • 30 mile cruise (upon return will park on Texas Motorplex Return Road)
  • No fuel can be added during the cruise but you can fuel up once you return to the track from cruise.
  • nitrous bottles can be installed
  • inter-coolers can be iced (only if located in trunk, rear hatch or rear seat area)
  • Any other method of cooling that is not listed is strictly prohibited.
  • You cannot open the Hood (Hood required for class)
  • Current Insurance & registration
  • Factory wheel Base and Stock Style Suspension
  • Any Size DOT tires approved (Same tire for cruise must be used for racing).
  • .400 Pro tree Start
  • Tracks safety requirements at tech in
  • No Complete tube chassis cars allowed/ no full front clip back half cars allowed.
  • Racer run is DQ if hood is opened, racer leaves before tree is activated receiving no time (red light is ok), racer cannot cross centerline. (If a racer is DQ they can still make the passes but will not count toward their average)
  • $60.00 entry fee.


Big Stick Motorsports Chill Street Brackets (12.50 and slower)

  • .500 Sportsman Tree (10 second stage time out)
  • No Sandbagging (example: obvious 10 second car running in 12.50 second class.)
  • Courtesy Stage not in effect.
  • Deep Staging permitted but starter will not hold the tree.
  • Footbrake only (no trans brakes, no delay boxes, no two steps, no throttle stops)
  • Factory wheel Base and Stock Style Suspension
  • Must Dial 12.50 or slower (breakout rules apply)
  • First or worse rule is in effect.
  • Random Card Draw in staging lanes
  • Bye will be random each round, bye’s do not carry over, once a racer has had a true bye they are not eligible for another bye until all competitors left in completion have had a bye.
  • No tube chassis or back half cars or trucks allowed in class.
  • Winner $300, R/U $150, Semis $50

12.00 index

Class Structure: all makes, all models, all years

  • .400 Pro Tree
  • ¼ mile heads up
  • Courtesy Stage is enforced.
  • Must have Registration and insurance
  • Must complete 30 mile cruise with the true street class
  • Power Adders Permitted
  • DOT tires only, no Slicks or Pro Bracket Radials permitted (Must race with tires and wheels you drove on the cruise with)
  • You cannot refuel during the cruise(no gas cans in car on cruise)
  • After the cruise you will be accounted for and released to go back to your pits, those that don’t make the cruise or complete the cruise will be DQ’d from the class.
  • Trans Brakes and Two Steps Allowed
  • Minimum weight 3,400 lbs.(car&driver combined)
  • Any engine and trans combo allowed
  • Factory wheel Base and Stock Style Suspension
  • No Tube chassis full front clip or back half cars allowed
