Join the NorCal Chapter of the Cadillac V-Club for a memorable family-friendly coastal cruise, designed for enthusiasts and families alike to soak in the breathtaking beauty of the northern California coastline before summer draws to a close.

Event Overview

The cruise is set to highlight some of the most beloved sites along Hwy 1, starting from San Mateo and winding south through Half Moon Bay and Pescadero to the sun-kissed shores of Santa Cruz. This journey offers the perfect blend of scenic driving, local flavors, and group camaraderie, all from the comfort and thrill of your Cadillac V.

Itinerary

• Start: Gather at Cruel Donuts in San Mateo at 08:30 AM. Enjoy one of their famous donuts—widely adored with a 4.8-star Yelp rating—and grab your favorite caffeine-based beverage to kickstart the adventure.
• Departure: The convoy will depart at 09:00 AM, heading west on Hwy 92 before merging onto Hwy 1 South.

• Scenic Stop: Our first stop will be the picturesque Pigeon Point Lighthouse. Here, take in sweeping coastal views and, if conditions allow, snap a group photo at this iconic landmark.
• Cruise to Santa Cruz: The journey continues down Hwy 1 South, offering more ocean vistas and the thrill of open-road driving.

• End Point: Arrive at the Natural Bridges State Beach parking lot in Santa Cruz. This marks the official end of the cruise and offers another fantastic photo opportunity.
• Estimated Arrival: The group expects to reach Santa Cruz between 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM, leaving the rest of the day open for additional adventures.

Post-Cruise Options

Participants can decide how to cap off their day:

• Explore the vibrant Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (400 Beach St, Santa Cruz)
• Enjoy a relaxing lunch at one of the many coastal eateries (recommend Ideal Bar and Grill in Santa Cruz)
• Continue cruising down the legendary Hwy 1 for even more scenic delights

• This event is designed for all ages—bring the whole family!
• This event does start early for those coming from further distances but, that gives more time to enjoy the Santa Cruz Boardwalk!
• Be sure to arrive on time to enjoy Cruel Donuts and to not miss the convoy departure.
• Weather can be unpredictable along the coast, so dress in layers.
