Firestone 550 Indycar Race & Exhibition Drag Race

Join approximately 100,000 racing fans for an evening of IndyCar racing at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday, June 8.  Prior to the start of the races, two of our V-Club members have been invited to compete in an exhibition drag race on pit row to help promote the upcoming Friday Night Drag race series which begins on June 14.  There will be 8 vehicles competing in the "Supercars" exhibition drag race along with two other drag racing divisions.

Stephen Hannah, in his "outlawed" CTS-V Sedan and Mike Franks in his "pretty darn quick" CTS-V Coupe will demonstrate why the Cadillac CTS-V is indeed a "supercar".

Schedule for Friday Night Drag (FND) Race Exhibition: 

FND competitors load into Midway         10:00 AM

Show car, promote, Q&A                     10 AM – 3:45 PM

Competitors to infield (convoy)              3:45 PM

First Exhibition Race                             4:30 PM

Multiple ticket packages are available via the Texas Motor Speedway website where you can purchase 4 tickets for $99 that also include 4 hot dogs and 4 cokes.   It is a great deal to watch some super fast cars on the oval TMS track that will hit speeds in excess of 200MPH!

If you would like to purchase a pit pass, you can do so for an additional $60.00.  Week-end camping passes are available for those out of town V-Club members who would like to bring their RV or camper.
