Please join the Texas V-Club at this fundraiser event hosted by two of our sponsors, Circle D Transmission  and Circle D Specialties who founded the Dennis Sehorn Foundation - ALS Circle of Friends.  This foundation is a 100% volunteer, 501(c)3.  Dennis Sehorn, was the founder of Circle D Transmission in 1976, lost his battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) in 2008.  Patricia Sehorn, Chris Sehorn and Sherry Dolejsi began the Foundation in 2011 so that they could honor Dennis Sehorn's memory by assisting those living with ALS.  The goal of the Foundation is to help families are struggling daily aspects (emotionally, financially and physically) of living with and caring for someone with ALS.  Their ALS families use the Foundation's contributions for things like out-of-pocket medical expenses, caregiver expenses and home modifications for wheelchair accessibility.

The 4th Annual Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 and there will be a car show (non-judged).  The V-Club has been invited to participate and the number of cars will be limited due to space constraints.  There will also be $25 tickets available to purchase for admission to the event.  Admission includes dinner (including beer and wine), dancing, silent and live auctions, wine pull, raffle and the car show.  Please RSVP if you can attend and support this worthwhile Foundation.  Click here to view information on supporting this worthwhile cause by making a donation.  Even if you cannot attend the event, please consider making a tax deductable donation of any amount.

You can also find more information on their website: www.als-sehorn.org to learn more about who they have helped in the past and the families that they are currently assisting.  You can also view pics of past events.  The past 3 fundraisers were held at Circle D Transmission however, they decided to move to an air-conditioned hall this year growth and interest expressed by many in supporting the Foundation.
