  3-Days of land speed competition with speed recorded, side by side racing, Friday April 10 through Sunday, April 12 in Hondo, Texas.  You can choose to race or spectate on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.  Drivers must register and submit payment via the Airstrip Attack website.  

  The Cadillac V-Club has returned as a Gold level sponsor of this event.  Please join us for 3 FULL DAYS of, side-by-side, HALF MILE racing at this exclusive location. All registered drivers who have paid the entry fee will be given a chance to take their vehicle’s top speed down the runway and race door-to-door against the competitor of their choice!

  You may arrive at the airport on Thursday between 9AM and 3PM to park your RV's, trailers and setup your pit area . 
  
  The Cadillac V-Club will have a reserved parking area for all members registered to compete in the event and our members who are spectating.  Look for our canopy.

  You must RSVP register as a member of the Cadillac V-Club to confirm your attendance and via email you will receive a 10% discount code to be redeemed via the Airstrip Attack website off your driver entry fee.  You will receive your discount code via email after you RSVP register via CadillacVclub.com. 
  
  In addition, all Cadillac V-Club members who RSVP register will receive:

  1. Free spectator tickets for the week-end ($50 value) - You will receive your spectator tickets via email prior to the event date via email
  2. Invite to attend our members group dinner on Saturday evening compliments of the Cadillac V-Club ($30 value)
  3. Free "ride-a-longs" to members who attend as spectators but you must bring a helmet and sign a waiver at the event.  ($65 value)

  COMPETITION CLASSES
  

  • AWD: Four Wheel Drivetrain
  • 2WD: Front Wheel or Rear Wheel Drivetrain
  • Manual: Manual transmissions and clutch, no sequential transmissions. No limitation on number of gears (i.e. 7-Speed manual is OK).  
  • Naturally Aspirated: Naturally aspirated motors only. No power-adders permitted (turbochargers, superchargers, nitrous, electric motors).
  • Ethanol class:  Vehicle must be using Ethanol or a blend.
    
  • Motorcycle: Vehicles with 2 wheels
  • Sedan: Vehicles with at least four doors. Wagons and SUV’s permitted so long as they have a minimum of four doors
  • Women's Class: Any vehicle driven by a female

  Vehicles can register for the trophy competition or open runs. Registration type and class must be selected at the time of online registration, or on-site before racing begins that day.

  All drivers registered in the trophy competition will be competing in a race shootout on their respective registered day(s).

  Qualifying: Drivers may do as many passes as possible from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM.  At 1:00 PM the top four (4) qualifying vehicles in each class will move on to the Semi Finals.

  Semi Finals: The top four (4) qualifying vehicles in each class may do as many passes as possible between 1:00 PM-3:00 PM. A minimum of one pass must be made between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to potentially move on to the next round.  At 3:00 PM the top two (2) qualifying vehicles move on to the Finals.

  Finals: The top two (2) Semi Final vehicles will report to grid at 4:00 PM for the final run. The final run of each day will determine 1st and 2nd place for each class. Both vehicles will line up and run at the same time, with the fastest trap speed on that pass taking 1st place, and the other taking 2nd place. There will be no reruns

  Both 1st and 2nd place drivers are required to be physically present at the trophy ceremony to collect their trophy once racing ends each day.

  Trap speeds for each round will only apply to that specific round. Trap speeds from previous rounds or speeds ran outside of the competition time frame will not count toward the competition.

  If a registered vehicle does not advance to the next round, it can still make open runs until racing ends each day, but will not qualify for a trophy.

  Trap speeds for the race shootout will only apply to that day. Trap speeds set in runs on Saturday will not count for Sunday’s race shootout.

  Drivers may only enter one class at a time. A driver cannot register a vehicle in multiple classes per day.

  Any competitor may request for race officials to inspect any competitor car to check the validity of the vehicle and the class entered at any time before trophies have been presented, whichever occurs first. Requests after this time will not be accommodated.

  Drivers may change classes between Saturday and Sunday.  (For example, a Mitsubishi Evo can race in the Sedan class on Saturday and decide to race in AWD on Sunday as long as these changes are in place before the first race occurs on Sunday morning).

  Driver entry fee: $375 1 day, $800 for 3 days
  Front of the line pass: $400 + entry fee for all 3 days
  
  Spectator Entry Fee: $30 per day at the gate per person - All V-Club members who RSVP register via CadillacVClub.com as a spectator will receive free spectator admission. You must indicate on your RSVP if you are attending 1, 2 or 3 days. RSVP registration closes for free spectator entry Wednesday, April 1 at midnight.
  
  All Cadillac V-Club members who RSVP register as a driver or spectator are invited to join a group dinner on Saturday evening at Hermann Son Steakhouse at 6:00PM.

  CAMPING
  For the first time ever, camping is allowed in Hondo at the airport. There is a $50 fee per family/RV/Motorhome. Those who want to camp need to email Jason at Shift S3ctor directly to fill out the permit/form for approval. This applies to spectators as well who want to park and stay in their RV at the airport.

  Cadillac V-Club members are invited to participate. This is a regional event open to all local chapter and regional members and sponsors.   
  
  As a Cadillac V-Club member your $20 car show entry is waived and you will receive 1 complimentary $35 crawfish platter.  Plus, you can swim and enjoy the hospitality and amenities offered by Lost Lagoon.

  You must RSVP register on CadillacVClub.com if you plan to attend and arrival by 10:00AM is mandatory.   It is not necessary for you to call the Lost Lagoon office for registration in the car show as long as you have RSVP registered as a member of the Cadillac V-Club.  We will provide the Lost Lagoon staff a list of all attendees from the V-Club. 
  
  This is a one-day event but if you prefer to stay overnight Friday or Saturday evening, there are a limited number of cottages or camper rentals available.   ABOUT LOST LAGOON
  The Lost Lagoon is a luxury campground with the world's largest RV Resort swimming pool, a Wibit water course and over 200 concrete RV sites with free wifi for all sites. Their luxury amenities offer a family-friendly environment with an on-site cafe, full bar and golf cart rentals.
  
  Before the Lost Lagoon became the Lost Lagoon, it was once a residential home with the worlds largest residential pool, and was even featured on HGTV (check out the video HERE)! Consisting of two homes, a pool and a large barn, the rest of the property was ranch land for livestock (see photo to the left). In 2017, the owners decided to sell and that is when the El Campo Lost Lagoon dream was born. Stephen and Kenna purchased the property and spent 18 months redesigning the entire property to their specific vision.

  The Holy Grail of Tracks. United States Best F1 Track, 3.4 miles of F1 history, with 20 turns, off & on camber, long straights. 133 feet of elevation change. F1 garages all to ourselves.

  No speed limits, no pedestrians, no stoplights, but best of all – no tickets. The Cadillac V-Club in partnership with Hooked on Driving (HOD) will provide you with an experienced instructor to help guide you through the event, one on one, as you learn how to handle your car at the limit. You set your own goals and only go as fast as you feel comfortable going. Progress as far as you wish in your own car at your own pace, become a safer driver on the street, and have a blast along the way!

  High Performance Driver Education (HPDE) refers to a track day held on a dedicated road racing track designed to teach drivers proper high speed driving in a controlled environment.  This will be your final opportunity to drive on this world class Formula One racetrack.  Circuit of The Americas (COTA) is transitioning to a private membership model, making 2026 the final year for public track day rentals. Starting in 2027, the track will become "THE CIRCUIT," an exclusive,, members-only club with restricted access.
  

  • HOD offers the best and longest running Beginner/Novice driving program in the industry! (HOD believes in 1-on-1 coaching, and great classroom downloads. Don't settle for "lead-follow." We'll get you up to speed quickly and safely)
  • Low Car Count Run Groups! (We run fewer cars at COTA than any other HPDE group)
  • Lunch included for all drivers (Bringing a guest? They can eat with us too, just grab an add-on lunch)
  • Stay Cooler! (We'll have a dedicated Air-conditioned hospitality suite and allow drivers to run windows up on track!)

  The cost to participate will be determined by the HOD run group you select. 

  • Do NOT try to get up at 4:00 am and make a long drive to the track. Go the night before and stay nearby so you can arrive fresh. This will be a long and exhilarating day… we don’t want you napping after lunch!!
  • Wear sunscreen and bring apparel for any changes in conditions.
  • Be early to the meetings. Get to know the drivers next to you in the paddock.
  • Experienced drivers will be super helpful to you – but only listen to our Driving Coaches for your introduction on track technique. Feel free to ask about other cars, or if you find one like yours, ask about what they’ve done to it for the track.
  • Be at all your group meetings and listen!

  In order to participate, you are required to RSVP and pay in advance of the event via the Hooked on Driving website with the V-Club discount code you will be provided via your RSVP confirmation email.  Your entry is not guaranteed until your payment is received by HOD.  A wait list will open for RSVP registration on CadillacVClub.com when the event is sold out.
  
  It is not mandatory that you drive your Cadillac V-Series vehicle on the track in order to participate. If you own a purpose-built track car or a Corvette, Camaro or some other "track ready" vehicle, you are welcome to register and drive that vehicle as a member of the Cadillac V-Club.

  Be sure to read the Hooked on Driving cancellation/refund policy.  No exceptions to this policy.
  
  Access to load-in to the property to drop your trailers and vehicles will be available starting at 5:00pm on Saturday May 30.
  
  The digital signaling system will be used in addition to physical corner workers to help communicate with drivers on track.
  
  89, 93 and 101 Octane Unleaded fuel is available at fuel station with use of credit card.

  Basic requirements include:

  1. You must be a licensed driver
  2. Drive a vehicle that will pass a track inspection
  3. SA2020 certified helmets are required for the event. 2015 Helmets will be permitted for this event. Motorcycle or M helmets are not allowed.
  4. Helmets and HANS devices are available for rent in a variety of sizes at the event.
  5. Car numbers are mandatory at all tracks. They must be on both sides of the car, at least 6" high, and easily visible to the corner workers. HOD numbers are available for purchase with on-line MSReg HOD registration or at the track.

  Sewell Cadillac and the Cadillac V-Club will provide bottled water & snacks throughout the day at no cost to drivers who registered and paid. Lunch tickets are available to purchase when you register and submit payment to HOD and you can purchase additional meal tickets for your guests and pit crew members.
  
  Saturday evening there will be a reception & dinner at 7:30PM for all drivers and their guests.  Location to be announced via email to all attendees who have RSVP registered to confirm their commitment to attend this event. There is a $30 fee per person for spectators and their guests payable in advance at RSVP registration.  There is no charge to attend the HPDE event as a spectator, but you must be a Cadillac V-Club member and RSVP register to attend.
  
  You will receive notification from HOD regarding the time when gates will open on Sunday for access to the pit area.  HOD will also provide a schedule for the entire day, i.e. driver check-in, driver's meeting, lunch time and times for each run group.  If you RSVP registered, check your email inbox for the latest information and updates.  All drivers and spectators will be provided a digital "photo id" in advance which must be displayed at the CoTA gate per the instructions provided to you via email.

  ABOUT WORLD ENDURANCE CHAMPIONSHIP
  

  Endurance racing is unique from other motorsport events held at COTA. Unlike typical racing formats where drivers attempt to race a pre-determined distance over the fastest time period, endurance racing is flipped. During WEC races, drivers have a preset amount of time to drive the longest distance possible. These events are designed to test the durability of both the equipment and the people behind the wheel.

  Even with all the variation in make and model, the field is always competitive. Drivers and manufacturers must carefully manage the balance between speed and efficiency, and one small miscalculation could be the difference between a celebratory podium finish and race-ending damage. This race will be packed with six hours of drama, and it will be one you will not want to miss.
  
  ABOUT CADILLAC RACING

  In 2025, Cadillac Racing (viaHertz Team JOTA) achieved its first-ever FIA WEC Hypercar victory at the 6 Hours of São Paulo, highlighting a strong season where they finished 4th in the Manufacturers' Championship. The #12 V-Series.R was highly consistent, scoring points in every race and finishing 6th overall in the driver standings.
  
  In its first season of WEC Hypercar competition in 2023, Cadillac Racing entries finished third and fourth. In 2024, Cadillac Hypercars qualified second and third and registered a best finish of seventh. 

  Before entering Hypercar competition as a privateer in 2023, JOTA Sport earned podiums at Le Mans 10 times in LMP2, including second- and third-place finishes in 2017.

  The Cadillac V-Series.R features a purpose-built Cadillac 5.5L DOHC V-8 engine developed by GM’s Performance and Racing Propulsion team based in Pontiac, Michigan. The racecar, co-developed by Cadillac Design, Cadillac Racing, and chassis constructor Dallara, was informed by the Project GTP Hypercar that was unveiled in June 2022. It incorporates distinctive Cadillac design elements, such as vertical lighting and floating blades.
  

  After a historic pole position in 2025, Cadillac Racing will be back at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with three V-Series.R racecars challenging for the overall victory.

  Event organizer Automobile Club de l’Ouest extended three invitations to Cadillac: In addition to the No. 12 and 38 Cadillac Hertz® Team JOTA V-Series.R entries from the World Endurance Challenge (WEC®), also on the grid will be the No. 101 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R, a full-season IMSA® WeatherTech® SportsCar Championship entrant in the Grand Touring Prototype® (GTP®) class.

  With the continued support of Cadillac headquarters and Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club, the Cadillac V-Club will be hosting our 6th annual members only event at the Cadillac V-Performance Academy in Pahrump, NV to experience the exhilarating drive of Cadillac's newest performance V-Series machines, the Cadillac V-Series Blackwings!   
  
  Space is limited to the first 18 members who RSVP register with 6 driver slots reserved for members who purchased a new CT4-V or CT5-V Blackwing from an authorized Cadillac dealer which includes a tuition paid trip to the V-Performance Academy.  You must provide your VIN# which will be used to verify the "in-service date" of your Blackwing and the date of purchase must be within 12 months from your in-service date. 
  
  The remaining 12 driver slots are reserved for members who purchased a pre-owned V-Series vehicle and have never attended the V-Performance Academy.  This is a "bucket-list" type of experience and well worth the cost of tuition especially at the discounted rate you will pay as a member of the Cadillac V-Club.
  
  

  This "two day" Cadillac V-Club Blackwing Experience is an incredible opportunity for you to put the most powerful Cadillacs ever to the test at North America's longest racetrack. 

  Designed for drivers of all experience levels, the challenging curriculum and precision-focused track-time focuses on improving the drivers’ capability and confidence level in not only their Cadillac V-Series Blackwing, but in any vehicle.

  With the perfect balance of informative classroom sessions and on-track exercises, this comprehensive program will increase your driving expertise.

  If you have purchased a new Blackwing from a Cadillac dealer and your date of purchase was within the last 12 months, you are eligible to receive a tuition paid trip.  This experience includes:

  • Tuition - 100% of your tuition is paid for by Cadillac
  • Lodging - Includes a 2-night stay in an on-site condo at Spring Mountain MRCC
  • Meals - Breakfast, lunch & dinner daily included in your stay

All participants will be given a chance to take their vehicle’s top speed down the runway and race door-to-door against the competitor of their choice!
  
  
  
  Not ready to compete?  How about joining the Cadillac V-Club Road Rally cruise to Abilene? Free week-end general admission ($50 value) and a complimentary group dinner on Saturday evening for all Road Rally participants plus you will receive a commemorative Cadillac V-Club North Texas Airstrip Attack Road Rally participant t-shirt!  When you RSVP register, just indicate you would like to participate in the Road Rally.  All Cadillac V-Club members from the South Central Region are encouraged to attend this event as a competitor, Road Rally participant or spectator.  We have a special reserved parking area in the pits for all V-Series vehicles.

  You may arrive on Friday between 9AM and 3PM to park your RV's, trailers and setup your pit area but you MAY NOT remain in the airport overnight. NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING IS ALLOWED.  The V-Club will have a reserved parking area for all members (drivers and spectators) registered to for this event. 

  COMPETITION (DRIVER) INFO
  You must RSVP register as a member of the Cadillac V-Club to confirm your attendance and via email confirmation of your RSVP you will receive a 10% discount off your driver entry fee.  You must then immediately register and submit your driver entry fee via the Airstrip Attack website.

  COMPETITION CLASSES
  

  • AWD: Four Wheel Drivetrain
  • 2WD: Front Wheel or Rear Wheel Drivetrain
  • Manual: Manual transmissions and clutch, no sequential transmissions. No limitation on number of gears (i.e. 7-Speed manual is OK).  
  • Naturally Aspirated: Naturally aspirated motors only. No power-adders permitted (turbochargers, superchargers, nitrous, electric motors).
  • Ethanol class:  Vehicle must be using Ethanol or a blend.
    
  • Motorcycle: Vehicles with 2 wheels
  • Sedan: Vehicles with at least four doors. Wagons and SUV’s permitted so long as they have a minimum of four doors
  • Women's Class: Any vehicle driven by a female

  FEES
  
  Driver Entry Fee: $375 1 day, $600 for 2 days
  Driver Front of the Line Pass: $300 for both days
  Spectator Entry Fee: $35 per day at the gate per person, $30 per day per person pre-purchased via website. (waived for V-Club members who RSVP register via CadillacVClub.com)
  
  NOTICE: All Cadillac V-Club members who plan to attend as a spectator Road Rally participant will receive a free two-day spectator ticket but you MUST RSVP register via the CadillacVClub.com website no later than Friday, October 9.  DO NOT register and purchase general admission/spectator tickets on the Airstrip Attack website for this event.
  
  Vehicle & Driver (Competitor) Registration includes:

  • Entry into Trophy Competition
  • 2 Spectator “Crew” Passes for the days registered
  • Event T-Shirt
